Scholars to arrive at Leicester Railway Station, Leicester St Margaret's Bus Station or East Midlands Airport
Rotarians will be at these three sites to welcome you. Scholars arriving at the bus and train stations will then go via a shuttle bus to the REGISTRATION OFFICE. Look for the Rotary Link Weekend sign, a large Rotary badge on the shuttle bus and Rotarians in bright day glow tabards! Scholars arriving at the airport will find that the Rotarians will have registration packs and hosts available thereby avoiding an unnecessary journey into Leicester City Centre!
REGISTRATION will take place at Devonshire Place, (The Freemasons' Hall), 78 London Road, Leicester Road, Leicester LE2 0RA (which is just a 100 metre walk from Leicester Railway Station).
At Registration, Scholars will be assigned to a Host Family. Large Items of Luggage can be left in a secure room at Registration, enabling Scholars, if they wish, to take a smaller overnight bag to their Host's homes.
The Registration Office will open at 10.00 am and close at 10.30 pm. It is essential that, if Scholars intend to arrive after that time, the Organisers are informed IN ADVANCE.
An EMERGENCY TELEPHONE CONTACT NUMBER will appear on this site nearer the date of the weekend
Scholars will depart from Leicester at the end of the Business Session that will also be held at Devonshire Place.
Scholars will have been provided with a packed lunch by their hosts
Shuttle Buses will be available to transport Scholars and their luggage to Leicester Railway Station, Leicester St Margaret's Bus Station and East Midlands Airport.
An Invitation will be sent to all Scholars advised to the Organisers by Rotary International
An Application Form will appear here shortly
